The Reason I Chose the Criminal Justice Field

For my last post I talked about me choosing to go into the Criminal Justice field, although my story was for Family Law. Which criminal and family law are two total opposite careers but do have some similarities. I talked about the crime shows that I would watch that made me want to go into the criminal justice field.

Although, that was not my focused career until almost one year ago.

Almost one year ago I lost my older brother, It was the hardest thing that I have and will ever go through. Still till this day I do not believe my brother is not here, as crazy as that may sound. It feels like he is out with his friends or with his girlfriend. It was not only hard for me but for my family and my mom especially.

My brother was murdered.
I can not get into detail because we are in the process with the courts to get justice for my brother. Therefore, going through this horrible tragedy made me want to help others overcome a tragedy they may be facing. Although, I do not wish this upon no one, because it is the worst thing someone could ever go through.

Losing someone very close to you is unexplainable, it is a feeling that hurts you and scares you.

I did not only lose my brother, but i lost my father father figure, my protector, and my best friend. Me and my brother were extremely close, he knew everything about me and helped me throughout so much. When I first found out that he was murdered it was unbelievable. I was mad at the world and I had so much anger inside of me. It doesn't get easier. It only gets harder and people who has never been through a tragedy like losing someone does not understand that. To be quite honest I never realized the pain and the suffering that those who lost someone go through until I lost my brother. That was the main reason why I chose the criminal justice degree because I could relate and help those who been through what I have been through.

  1. According to Stanford Medical, It is in fact the ONLY reason women in this country live 10 years more and weigh 19 KG less than we do.

(And realistically, it is not related to genetics or some secret exercise and EVERYTHING to about "how" they are eating.)

BTW, What I said is "HOW", and not "WHAT"...
